gtr is alive again!!!

Post by natural born honda killer »

well its about time but the beast is finally alive. one of the relays was corroded so it wasnt getting spark so we replaced it and it finally started getting spark. well then we found out the fuel pump wasnt getting power so we hard wired it and it is now getting power. so we then crossed our fingers and wham it started right up. so while we were letting it idle up and get lubed up we were hearing the alt start to grind so next sunday we will be replacing it and try and figure out why the fans dont work. the fans quit working when we hooked up the haltech e6k but we rewired it and they worked. they dont work now but we think its cause the connectors got corroded so that will be fixed and then a quick check with the laptop and it will be drivable again. oh and the motor was perfect. it purred like it did from the factory. just thought id let ya know.

oh and it is still for sale. gotta clean it up before i do anything with selling it lol.

yeah I still like the early 2000 better than the 06 still but the body style of the new one took me like a month to like a little. Still kind of freaky looking though with that crazy grill. But since it is a STI...

DO IT UP lol.

well my next mods for the mx will be a high flow cat with a retune to about 17-18 psi and hopefully about 260-300 at the wheels that way itll be about the same power level as the sti but about 8-900 lbs lighter. god i cant wait lol.

Don't forget, no more bottlenecking dude lol. Get a bigger cat and exhaust system so you don't have so much back pressure to the turbo, this way when you turn up the boost at the same time, you will feel a major power difference. I talk to the people on http://www.323gtx.co.uk . You should go there and see what they are about.

PS. at 323gtx they are all european. you might want to get ready to convert psi to bar and convert bar to psi. There are a couple GTR 323 people on there to. Very awsome.
