Sweet race and good driving. Awesome car. Love the wing and the set-up.

Ok guys, for all those that are intrested you can find fotos of my car on my company's site : this is the 2006 look
http://www.jdgraffix.net/html/mikee_s_mx-3.html
and this the 2005 look:
http://www.jdgraffix.net/html/miguels_0.html
I am runing a low compression kl-ze with the millenia manifold, the car been runing on a 100hp Nitrous shot for the past two years without any problems.
Internally I have not changed anything, just been doing all the little bits like, polishing the inside of the intake runners, Thermal spacers, Irridium sparkplugs (2 numbers colder) the biggest Green Airfilter I could find (120mm) inside a cool chamber with a 100mm forced feed from under the car, Malpasi fuel presure regulator runing 65psi on the rails (standard Injectors) runs much better than with the bigger injectors. Walbro fuel pump, magnecor HT leads. The exhaust is a custom made unit, with a small silencer where the cat used to be in order to maintain a bit of velocity. The Ecu (kl36) was remapped in Malasia allowing the car to rev above 8200rpms (without problems).
The first dynos without NOs where showing 201hp, pulling all the way to 7800rpms and with the Nos 301 with an amazing 500nm torque this was just before it ripped the s--- out of my drive shafts and me diff. so after a new set of reworked drive shafts, diff and high quality wheel bearings and new tefflon bushes all round, a few small changes and now the car runs beautifully and has another 10/15hp added on from modifying the intake and exhaust.
For the chassis, I am runing 18"akuza rims, I have the upgraded drilled rotors and EBC green stuff brake blocks. A complete set of AST shocks and dampers (http://www.ast-suspension.com/) custom made for the MX-3s. The car is lowered 10cm on the rear and 8cm on the front with a camber correction kit, front and rear strut braces. I replaced the rear spoiler for an Rotora adjustable unit in silver carbon to increase down force as the car felt a bit light on the rear above the 200k.
here is a video of the car at the dyno, the run is made is in 4th gear with the 100hp Nos shot and pulling to 8000rpms:

and this is a video from last year, the car next to me is a standard V6 mx-3, we both floor it from 120kmph......
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSM-wSeiPH8
hope you have enough information, otherwise just let me know, I will post some more videos soon. July the 16th I am back at the track for another session
all the best for now guys

The Green Mx3 is from my best mate, he is runing a kl-de with a 50hp Nos shot, the striping was designed by me and its a sort of shade shifter effect, changes color in different light.
The fender extension are sold here in Holland, via Autostyle: http://www.autostyle.nl/products.asp
just search for "fender"
The kl-ze with the 100hp Nitrous shot is unreal, if you cruise in 5th gear at 120kmph and the shift down to 4th and boost at the same time, the car will wheel spin from one lane to another trying to find grip, fist time round I almost pissed my pants.....hahhahahahhaha
My Garret T28 Turbo has arrived along with some other goodies, so I will let you know how I get with force feeding the kl-ze

The skyline also only had 1 person and the mx had 2. so that knocks down the weight advantage to 100-150 lbs. considering the camera man in the mx was small to average in size.Nitrous Fusion wrote:I suppose I out braked the first skyline aswell, watch the both movies before making smart remarks........ever heard of power to wait ration, for that 300lbs he has an extra 300hp more than the mx......

Those videos were amazing and so are the car and driver. The race from 120 kmph was ridiculous. The way the second onefrom the track was buffering made it seem like "Tom goes to the mayor" racing though. I suppose thats what i get for using bit torrent stuff while trying to watch...but thumbs up all around. I can't wait to see some more.
