valve / head job

Post by WingleBeast »

i hear i shouldent try and replace the guides myself as a shop needs to adjust them or somthing. obviously i would have a shop gring out the valve angles. ive taken engines apart and stuff but never tried to tackle one of these. so im wondering what i could do and what a shop needs to do.

unless you have precise measuring tools, you should take it to the shop. the valves and the valve seat should have a 1 degree difference from each other. Thats your interferance angle.

I'd leave all the head work to a pro, considering they move more then your pistons..
