well, bad news on my part. as luck would have it, my clutch blew on me this morning.

i'm sooooooooo pissed right now because i spent the last week getting my car ready for this meet. i rebuilt the cargo cover, cleaned the interior, etc. then on friday my distributor got fuked, so i did the hei and fixed that. now this morning my car starts idleing really high and then the clutch blows.

anyways, take lots of pics for me. have fun guys.

Good to here you found the HEI after speaking with me on friday but bad to here about your clutch. I guess your in a rush b4 your bc trip!!! May I suggest the clutchmaster stage 3. It will run you 700 but worth it.
If at first you don't succeed....it never happened

i just ordered the centreforce stage 2 because i'm able to get it by wednesday. $500 for the plate, disc, and throw out bearing. seems expensive, but i don't have the luxury of time on my side to price around. hope the meet turns out well. can't believe this happened to me today of all days.

btw, thanks a ton for yuor help with the hei mod.

its better it happened locally then if u were all the way out here and it went!!! Mine went at work actually... I could have drivin it because it was just a pressure plate issue not engaging properly in 1st in 2nd, but it was hard getting up hills and such

so I drove her to my uncles and it sat till i bought the clutch and got her to the shop!!!

gotta hate the break in period with a ZE under the hood. So tempting to give her but I was good with her for almost 2000km

esspecially because of the weather, i was SURPRISED to see about 9 cars at the meet, 13 ppl for food (and this time Gabor did only eat for one)

it woulda been nice to b able to find covered parking....maybe next time we wanna meet when its supposed to rain we can meet at yorkdale or sherway (someplace w/ a covered area)
