Im getting frustrated

Post by hgallegos915 »

Man i dont know wtf.. i fixed the vris now i do feel the pull, i DONT have the fpr hooked up to vacuum.. but even before i would get ok mileage at least 25..now i get 15!! i checked ALL fuel lines all the way to the tank.. no leaks. no black smoke/ ther is a gas smell at the gas cap but no leaks. No elaks in the fuel pump, its a kf15 ecu, kf engine reads kf01 on the cams... new plugs wires, disty rotor, hei mod, filtger element is a cone cai around 6 months old. Spark plus are ORANGE from the inside (rear banks) got headers , stage 1 clutch appears to slip a bit but not really. I got good tore pressure, i fixed my sticking rear hand brake... engine 36 k miles and is very clean from inside. oil change every 2500 miles. Runs like a dream but dayum in not even turbo..any ideas.. ANYTHING will helop, I get no codes with kf ecu and of course k8 ecu gives me egr codes which is normal and FPR solenoid. I tested the solenoid by putting it as a vris and doesnt open. :( im so sad..she looks so pretty but expensive to drive. ANY help ois appreciated. (the cursed mx3) i think ill get rid of the curse when i get a ze...

It seems simple, the FPR MUST be hooked into vaccum...

ok thanks, ill do that. Also i replaced the IAC unit, I found the old one melted and disconnected.... hopefuylly that helps. Im going to a junk yard to see if i can find an fpr. Hey pat do you know if that solenoid works as the vris? When i had put it directly to vacuum a long time ago it caused my FPR to fail and got clogged..

I got that iac off my original TB whic was bad from my straight neck. Custommx3 sold me a really nice one for cheap :D I was using the iac he sent me. Myc ar was on fire and iac was damaged. I simply swapped iac and works like acharm. 220 miles per tank as copared to befpore less than 150.
