That's cool. I am sure you would love to visit Victoria sometime during the summer. And I am sure you would not be able to resist coming over to the meet.

i'd love to see victoria, but google is telling me that it'll be 16hrs or driving to get there, so i'm not too sure it'll work out. it would definitely be a weekend thing and i'd need a place to crash if i went (hint hint). :)

i'll be at the kelowna meet for sure with my mx-3 since it's only 2.5 hrs away.

Hehe the loops eh, I might be the only one in that neck of the woods! Victoria is not 16 hours away from kamloops. Van is only 4 hours or less from kamloops.

how far are you from kamloops? you going to kelowna? if so, we should get together for the drive down.

so, what would travel time to victoria be then? stupid google is saying it takes 11hrs to get from vancouver to victoria, that's why the 16 hrs i guess.

are you using vancouver wa. on mapquest, that is the only thng i can see why it would be so long of a drive to victoria, think it is only about 2-3 hours away from van. good to see more people are going to the meet in kelowna, i will probably be going threw kamloops the wednesday night before the meet and stay down till sunday afternoon and drive back. should be a good turn out.

Depends how long you have to sit in the ferry line-up. Ferry treminal is about 45 mins from downtown Vancouver or other points like Surrey, BC. Depending on the day, you gotta be there about 45 mins before the sailing or even more on weekends or busy days, or pay 17.50 to get the reservation - good idea on Fri night Sat or long weekends. Trip over the straight is 1hr35mins, then about 30mins to Victoria. You do the math.

If you decide to come over to Victoria, that would be great. You can stay at my place in a guest room, as long as no one else is visiting at that time. Otherwise, plenty of couches.
