Thats why we ask for the codes to be put in the topic, so you can read them before you "read" them.

In all actuality, its going to be too hard to move ALL of those topics into 2 different subforums.

You have more than those 2..
WTB
WTT
EBAY

If they werent merged, people would post all over each sub forum.

I agree 100% for separate forums:

Having everything in 1 forum gets stuff pushed down to quickly imo. EBay stuff would fall under the for sale forum obviously. As for the stuff that would have to be moved if all the old threads have been sold or bought why not just delete them?

I think a good layout for a buy sell forum would look like this (example)

For Sale
Want to Buy
Positive Feedback
Negative Feedback

As for people posting in the wrong place, a lot of people don’t read the sticky about the tags, I’ve seen lots of people told "hey dude if you don’t put tags in your post it'll get deleted"

Having 4 separate threads might take up more room on the board but it would be a bit more organized.

Or if you want to be more organized and take up less board space, find a phpbb2 trade modification that allows members to rank each other and it displays numbers under there user name. I've seen this before on other message boards and I think it works quite well.

Just an idea

IMO, I like the buy sell stuff in the same section, I like the quick browse aspect.
