I don't remember if I already posted it..anyway...another Brazilian Mxer....really nice turbo setup.

95 MX3 1.6 16V Turbo - running around 7psi of boost with alcohol- 216whp (see the dyno video below).

Is that the stock DOHC 1.6l turbo'd or is it a swapped B6T?

Stock DOHC...custom exhaust manifold, T25 turbocharger and custom intercooler.

I hope to be around 300whp with this built motor. Got 2300 miles on it....gonnda dyno tune @ 3000 miles. Ill keep all yall posted.

not to jack this forum but with this engine or similar like it how easy is it to get to 250 HP and how much boost are we talking thanx guys?

yah this comming up spring im going to have to come down to the track and we will go run them. i should have my new 1.9L BP completed by the end of Dec. and with just the turbo im expecting around 300, but with the direct port NOS it should be real fun!! i should see 400 maybe more. its only an 80 shot but its x4. so 80 on each cylinder.

to take a complete stock 1.6L motor to 250WHP, is totally doable but its how reliable will it be. it should hold up just fine given its in good to new or referbished condition. but it has to be tunned to be perfect to make it last. and it would take more than a VJ14 or VJ20 to do the Job. T3/T4, G16 something in that range.
