Rear Drum to Disc Conversion

Post by PhAzEXXi »

Is it possible to convert the rear drum brakes to disc brakes on a 95 RS with the front discs on a 94 RS? Is this realistic or should I go buy a aftermarket conversion kit?

You can do it. Some say that its not worth it due to disc brakes being heavier. I myself plan on doing it. Maybe the stupid E brake will work a bit better!

You'll need either an aftermarket kit or ya can retrofit the rear disc brake setup from a GS onto an RS. If reading your Q correctly, then no ya can't use a set of 94RS front discs/calipers etc to swap onto the rear of your 95RS - so you'd need the GS rear disc setup - from any year GS.
