i need some FYI on shipping...

if i want to ship something how do i find out how much its gonna cost?
my point is i might have to ship my rear bumper.. do i have to bring it into the post office or what? any help would be appreciated..

i know this sounds really dumb.. but ive never shipped anything before

Check the local listings for DHL, UPS, and FedEx.. they should have a "Store" location where you can take things to be shipped. Shipping prices are generally based on weight & sometimes volume depending on the shipping company. The shipping company should be able to give you more specific details. Best of luck.

You can ck. it out online. I use iship Website to get advance info. Link is below - just enter your origin/destination and weight info in the righthand corner of their homepage. You'll get results for UPS, USPS, and Airborne, including options and costs broken down within each of those carriers. iship used to include Fedex but not any longer so I go directly to the Fedex site for theit cost estimate. http://www.iship.com/default.htm

Dunno about DHL cause I've never used em.

Airborne Express is DHL. If you can use DHL or Greyhound in Canada, go with them. I know a bumper is too big for the Post Office.
