Donors of KL-ZE

Post by SUB G »

Hi everybody, i'm a new memba. And i'm from Russia, hm. So, my English.. :)

I've some question. Have U ever heard about such donrs of KL-ZE as Mazda Cronos*, Mazda Efini MS-8*. Becose there is 1 diiference between engines (all of them KL-ZE) on this cars + MX-6 and engines on Mazda Millenia (or Eunos 800*). Cars wich is marked with * produced only for japan (inner) market. So the difference is that max. torque on Cronos,MS-8,MX-6 on 5500rpm, but on millenias on 4800. The first one is beter as i understend.
Waiting for comments and advises.

Technically there are 2 differences.

First, the difference in torque is related to the cams. The Millenia uses cams which provide more low-end torque (as you've noticed it's peak torque is at 4800 instead of 5500rpms) for it's automatic transmission, since (I believe) that is it's only option.

Also, the intake manifold on the engines are different, but the Millenia's will ease the installation, and give it an OEM look to the engine bay.
