No Vegemite is out there all on its own. Theres nothing remotely like it. I just feel sorry for you guys that haven't tried it... not trying some would be as sad as dying a virgin.... :D
He either loves the stuff.. or its somekind of dirty aussie trick :confused2: ;) What is the color and texture of the stuff like?

Btw.. thought of another foodstuff that is disgusting.. Caviar. Goose Patte is pretty disgusting looking as well.. anything that looks like canned dog food cant be good ;)

Grants, maybe you could airmail us some veggemite...?
Anyone wants some just pm or email me your address and I'll mail some over. It doesn't need refrigerating so travels ok. People mail it overseas all the time - us Aussies can't live without it!

Its black and has the same texture as butter or margarine. Not disgusting at all - fair dinkum tastes great. Up there with beer and meat pies :D

The only thing I've ever heard people say bad about it is the colour - it doesn't worry me cause we've always had it. Suppose I can't really blame them - I could never eat that green tomato sauce (you guys got that?).
