Space to spare
Space to spare
the other day i went to home depot to pick up some SM foam. i wanted to construct a prototype for a subwoofer but subwoofers here are not the issue. i fit a whole 8 feet by 2 feet sheet right in the car with the hatch closed and it wasnt a bother to drive.
WHAT A DESIGN!!
Later that day i went to the beer store to give back some empties. I fit
6 Canadian 24's just in the trunk alone, none stacked.
But here is the kicker. A few years back when i was in a band the drummers van broke down and we had to get to the gig. we figured 2 trips would do but we got it all inside: Half of a drum set (snare, all cymbals, stands, seat etc...)2 marshall 2x12 guitar amps, a peavey 15 inch bass amp, 2 guiars in hard cases and a bass in its case.
The bass ran down the middle of the car, separating the left and right side. and everything else fit in the trunk with the guitars on top of the trunk cover. We did manage to get the whole band there in one shot on time for soundcheck thanks to the roominess of the MX3.
Any other MX3 room stories? Nothing about sex, its all been done he he he...
------------------
KWK MX3
RED '92 2.5L GSR

Re: Space to spare
One day, my roommates and I went to a garage sale. We ended up coming home with a new loveseat and a recliner.......both of which went inside the Mx....
The recliner went in first.....the passenger seat was folded up, and the back of the recliner was resting on it while the seat part was about where the back seat was. The love seat went in next, with more than half inside the trunk and the rest outside the trunk (hatch open).
We really wished one of us owned a truck at that point...hehe
John Van Camp
94 white RS
