stomach virus?

Anyone ever had a real nasty one. Mines been goin on for like 11 days now and I was actually put in the hospital today for about 4 hrs, to recieve tests and IV fluids. They gave me antibiotics and they kinda work, but now I have a freakin fever!. This is the lamest disease I have ever gotten, and the doctors can't even give me a strait answer, to if it a virus or a bactirial infection. Guess I gotta wait till they get my next test results in. This is costin me an arm and a leg as I don't currently have health insurance. How the heck am I gonna buy a BP motor if I can't stop puking and crapping! For all of you that have had this before you have my deepest sympathys. This blows! sorry for the rant

That sucks. Remember though, backpressure is a myth. Sufficient velocity is what it's all about. Feel better soon.

yeah...now that i think of it i have. i didn't know it was called bird flu though. Luckilly I haven't had any seizures yet, I'm still waiting for test results.

well here's the deal. It was a bactirial infection in my stomach, the antibiotics cured it, and the doc said I should be back to normal by friday. The only bad thing is that the hospital just called me and told me the price of my bill: $1300!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Since I just started a new job, I have no insurance, so I have to pay all this. They said they'd set up a payment plan with me, but even that is riddiculus. I swear i'm just gonna tell them to stick it up their....sorry, just pretty pissed at the healthcare system in this country

Well that really sucks. Both abotu the flu you got and also about the hospital bills.

You should move to Canada, stuff like that is covered by our provincial health plan. You woudl only have to pay a portion if you wanted to upgrade to a private room, as opposed to a semi-private room.

Anyways, you'll be happy to hear that your decal was shipped out today, and you should get it soon!
