creaking and turning

When i make left turns, i can hear a 'creeking' type noise from my car, i dont know what this is, is it CV Joints? I thought<BR>the diagnosis for gone cv joints is a Ticking noise? this is like a creaking noise,<BR>help me out guys<P><P>------------------<BR>Deano, 1996 Black GS

It could still be your CV joints. It could start out as creaking and as they wear more, the clicking gets more distinct. My CV joints are really bad right now. I bought 2 rebuilt drive axles from Mazda for like 200 a piece and i'm ganna put them in this weekend.

Guess what! I get to do mine as well. Les Schwab's gave me a quick quote of "around 200 bucks" for the whole job so I'm going in on Tuesday to try and get it in writing. I'm really not sure how much it would cost, my brother is installing mine for me. You might wanna check with someone else and make sure it's the CV joints before you talk to someone about replacing them though. Good luck.
