Where Can I Get a Used ATX?

Post by Nallboy »

Ok, guys,
My RS just killed the tranny (don't ask how it sheared and welded a gear and messed up the linkage- I don't know), and now I need another ATX tranny for it. It's just going to be my fill-in daily driver until I get my GS finished, so all I need is a used replacement to baby along for a while, a cheapie from a junkyard. To my knowlege, the tranny can be swapped with one from certain year Escorts and Tracers. What trannies can actually replace mine stock?

Oh yeah, I have a stock ATX 92 RS too.

Could someone please help me out here? I'm stuck driving my GF's old Saturn and really want to get back into my Mx-3 to turn heads again. I hate Saturns. I miss my Mx-3. :crying:

Guess I should have replied sooner; I already bought a rebuilt tranny with a new torque converter for $700. I put it in yesterday and just have to connect all the little stuff when I get home tonight. So, thanks for the offer, but I'm taken care of now! :2thumbsup:
