Calgary Christmas Dinner

Post by wyldside »

Hey Everyone,

It's time for our annual Christmas Dinner Evening. This year we will have dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory (222 3rd Street SW, Calgary, Alberta). With everyone's input, we have chosen Wednesday December 22nd at 6:30pm. If this date does not work for you, please let me know ASAP. Also, please let me know if you and a guest or two will be attending. I will need to know how many people to make reservations for.

See you there!

There's no way in hell I can make it that early on a weekday, especially during the Christmas season unless I just take the afternoon/day off (unlikely).

Unfortunately I have no other suggestions at the moment.

Are we planning a mini-meet in conjunction with the dinner? It would be nice to have all the cars lined up together, ala Kilkenny's.

Well, I'd like to have you there, Darcy. Shall I change the time to 6:30 or 7:00pm? We would just have to make sure that I get the reservations put through. It's really busy around that time. I actually think 6:30 would be better since there is more free parking at that time.

It usually always works out that we're parked next to each other. There is lots of parking there and I usually pick a spot that allows us to park in a nice line.

I can't expect everyone to make it. Some people are busy with work Christmas parties. Others leave for Christmas vacations mid to late December. Does this date work for anyone? I chose this date with some of the input I received. If anyone has a better suggestion, please let me know before it's too late.

Well, out of the ~10 people or so in our group, what have they all said?
With enough notice, I can probably get off early, but there's a lot of other people to coordinate with.
I thought this date was *quite early myself, but whatever.

Okay, well what time / date would work best with everyone. I didn't get many responses. Justin exams and work are impossible to plan around. Joelle suggested that the first week of December was good for her and Dylan; but I pushed it for a week later. I recall Dallas saying that Thurs, Fri, and Sun are not good for her. The friday of that week I can't do since I have to go with Tracy to her corporate Xmas party and the one for my work is the Wednesday after. How would Tuesday Dec 22nd work for everyone?

I would prefer the 22nd, but if that doesn't work for the the others, I can do the 8th.

That's great Jesse! I'll add you and Jackie to the list.

Don't worry about the glasses, they were an easy fix. It wasn't your fault, you didn't know that I left them on that chair. :D

I will make the reservations for 8 people in case one more person shows up. I can't wait to eat my Cavatappi Con Polo. I haven't had that in such a long time.

Reservations are under "MX-West"
