Making a video!

Post by Franko »

Hey guys... I am planning on making a video of mx-3's to music in the near future.. The problem is that I dont haven enough vids of mx's actually I have barely any.. mabey 2...
I really wanted to get some cool footage of mx's at their best.. like fly bys, walk arounds and crusing footage.. even some handbraking or burnouts... anything that has an mx in it.. as long as its not too boring.. anything I can use.. Post it on here of if you want I could fire up my ftp and people can upload it to that. Anyway I can get it.. and also I could use some hints as to a good song to put to mx-3's. Once I finish the vid I will post it up on the board for everyone to enjoy. It may take a while.. I want to do a really good job. :2thumbsup:

We tried this last year, but it fell through. The guy posted his FTP login on the UBB, and people logged into it to try and d/l the videos (BAD IDEA). If you want people to upload vids, PM those who have them with their own login, do not allow downloads, just uploads.

Sounds like a plan.. even if people contacted me through msn.. and sent them that way.. that is pretty safe.

Or even better would be a 1:1 or 1:2 or some sort of upload, download ratio, reward those who are participating.

I have my First drag racing and some footage from the Ottawa Mazda Meet i could send ya, its about 3.5gbs in total, buti could cut the good parts out, is there a specific format you would like? I added you to my msn a few minutes ago, so let me know. And if you need any help with any part of it, let me know :2thumbsup:

I was the one a year ago who started the thread on makin an MX-3 DVD...and the funny thing is I was just thinking about maybe starting it back up. So let me know if u need any help making the video, I'd love to do it. I'm also thinking of doing a "MX-3's at Carlisle" video this year as well.

Not really convinient, most are 30min drive away and im sure wouldn't be too enthousiastic of standing in the cold while i'm having the fun. Most are pretty boring. I'm the only one that snowboards(skis, whatever), im the only one that mountain bikes, i'm the only one that goes camping, my best friend doesnt even own a car, doing sh1t by yourself gets boring after a while

My one friend probably would but his video techniques suck. I have a good maybe 4 friends that i hang around with, and i would guess that most people you get board filming other people, except for me, i would love to.
