Where to begin...?
Re: Where to begin...?
Cork sport and SDR have white face guages, you can get a short shifter kit, new rims, tinted windows, upgrade your stereo, get drilled rotors, new exhaust, a PRM intake, get a performance chip, new paint job, buy hyper white lights, or then grand pubal of all, Get the KlZe !, then theres strut tower braces, front and rear, get one of those dancing hula girls for the dash, and the list goes on and on. Just depends on how long you plan keeping the car and if its worth your time, and if your girl doesnt wanna go out to eat for a while.
Re: Where to begin...?
You can buy my Mazda CD player TOo!, and get lowered springs
Re: Where to begin...?
Where to start depends on what is more important to you. Are you more concerned on function (performance) or form (looks)? Most people will lean towards one or the other. I know you will probably say, "I am interested in BOTH". I am interested in both also, but one takes priority. Looks are more important to me than performance. If you cannot decide, then you should start with something that does BOTH! Lowering springs will make your car more aggressive looking and will also make it corner better. I just got some from Suspension Techniques (same company that makes Bell Tech). They are a great company and have excellent products. I ordered mine from http://www.fastfours.com and it was about $150 for all 4. Thats over $70 cheaper than you can get Eibach for.

Well your economic situation has a little to do with it. I would get an engine swap First.
Before I did anything else, that would be a great place to start. Granted you have the cash to get it done. At the same time you might as well put in a new clutch and maybe shave the flywheel a little.I would do all this first if my budget allowed me to do so

Re: Where to begin...?
Well, I have the springs and they are very nice looking. They are charcoal grey powdercoated and are made from very good steel. They are also progressive rate, so that should provide a nice ride. I got them and removed my old ones and tried to install the new ones, but they were not the right size. I got to checking further to find out what was wrong, and come to find out, Fast Fours had accidentally sent me springs for an MX-6 rather than the MX-3. I am waiting on UPS to pick up the old ones and give me the correct ones. I will be sure to let you know. I am sure that I will have them installed in the next week or so (as soon as I get them). Like I said previously, Suspension Techniques is the auto division of Bell Tech (which is for pickups). If you know anything about minitrucks, then you know that Bell Tech is about the best place to get your suspension parts (unless you are going with Air Bags).
