18" RIMS......
18" RIMS......
I'm seriously considering buying 18" rims for my mx3 but berfore I do........... is there anyone on here that has them? If so, is the ride very firm and/or harsh. And also do you guys think a set of 17" rims would be a more logical choice as in regards to ride handling? Let me know.

Re: 18" RIMS......
there not going to be any more harsh then a set of 17's with a low pro tire, there are a few members that have 18's but if you are going to do any racing (track of course) your not gonna wanna go with 18's because of the sheer weight, if your goin for looks more power to ya but your a perfomance junkie i suggest some light weight 16's
sold the mx-3 , bought 04 gtp comp g , from the smallest v6 to one of the biggest 3800 s/c FTW

Re: 18" RIMS......
ive got 18's but never put them on, tires are more expensive than most any other tire for passenger car. id go with 15 lightweight rim for racing.

Re: 18" RIMS......
I have 18s with 205/35 and yea the ride is quite rough, I feel every bump in the road. If your going for looks 18s all the way.

Good to hear it fella. Im sure youll be happy with that size.
Re: 18" RIMS......
Quick question Mikeuk....... On your car, did you drop the suspension at all or did the over all size of the rim and tire fill up the gap like that and also, did you put on a new suspension if you didn't drop it?

Re: 18" RIMS......
Ive not touched the suspension yet, But I will be. You cant tell from the pic, but the car looks too high. Think im gonna run with Ground control coilovers and Tokico shocks.
