heres what i have read, stay away from platinum and splitfires... best for mx's are beru Silverstone, and NGK V-power, personally i used NGK, they are cheap, and work great, just my 2 cents...
------------------
Alberto
1993 Mx-3 1.6l Se
Brilliant Black!

For the v6, NGK BKR-5E11's. I've heard the same, stay away from splitfires and stuff.
------------------
mason
MX3SE
ICQ#44771740
masonholmes@hotmail.com

Everyone I've heard who got the Beru's has said they see no difference between them and BKR-5E11's except a big hole in their wallet.

------------------
mason
MX3SE
ICQ#44771740
masonholmes@hotmail.com

Re: Spark Plugs...which is best??
Nippo Denso just came out with a new plug.
They are called Iridium. They are classed as Ultra High Performance. Iridium (extracted from meteorites) is far superior to platinum - 6 times harder, 8 times stronger and able to take temperatures up to 1200 degrees hotter. they claim to give more horsepower, faster, easier starts, less misfires under heavy loads plus better fuel economy. They sound great but are they a hock of crap like the split fires?
They run $11.99 a piece
