Got my car back yesterday after the exhaust sounded like it darn near fell off.

New everything past the catalytic converter. Turns out that at some point before the car was mine, a repair shop directly welded the pipe to the cat, cutting off the bolt-on system. Thankfully, these guys did a bit of welding and bingo, it's back to normal.

Re: Oh I felt the Midas touch
I find midas really good for stuff like that.. It happened to my tracker, the exhaust let go and the thing was so loud, it sounded like a dump truck. They fixed it for like 15 bucks.. I wonder if they will custom make me up an exhaust.. That would be nice.. I would like to go with a bigger pipe now that I got the turbo.

we got bunch of shops here, i know we got like 30 or more body shops in my small city, the problem is that theres just no economy here so i see them close all the time and more and more For sale property, everyones going outta business, poor city. we got lots of industry here though, just not enough rich people.
