Help me get the door open.......please

Hi,

The locking bars on the drivers side door are bent, and I need to take the panel off. Trouble is, the door is now stuck closed. The locking mechanism seems to move back and forth, and both inside & outside handles move, but the door won't unlatch. How's that for a circular argument?

Any ideas how I can either get the door open, or get the panels off without opening the door?

It sounds like your stuck in between a rock and a hard place.
My only suggestion is taking the fender off to get to the hinges and removing the entire door.
Have you taken the trim around the inside handle off. Perhaps you can get a hold of the locking bar that way.
