Puget Sound Meet "UP DATE"

Post by Josh »

ok so i finally called the Park and it will cost us nothing to go there if were under 20 or so people which i think we will be rite around there. and they have open BBQ grills so we are good there. so i would say the meet will be at Salt Water State Park its down by Des Moins, its about the same time and distance for all of us to travel. and it will be on the 24th of July which is a Saturday, and start around noon.
how does that sound. we just need an exact count of who all is coming, and if everyone wants to bring something cheep to add to the lunch.

Sounds great, thanks for all your work. I'll bring some stuff, but what type of food are we planning so I can bring "matching" things?

I *really* hate to say this but I'm planning a week's trip to florida sometime in the next 2 months and it could possibly be around that day, but I really don't know just yet. I don't want to cause a schedule problem tho so don't feel like we need to work around me (i'm not too important believe me, but i do really want to be there). I will report back within 2 weeks or so when i know exactly when i will be gone and whatnot. i think the day will work for me, i'm just not quite able to commit to it yet... sorry to be sketchy like this :D

This has nothing to do with the meet but...box, you happen to be on Fox Island today (5-24). Was pulling into my driveway when I think your teal mx drove past. I was driving my dads ugly van though...

ok so here are the driving directions. to Salt water state park.

Located two miles south of Des Moines, Wash., near Sea-Tac International Airport.

From the south:
Take exit #147 off I-5. Follow signs west, and turn right on 16th St. past the Safeway store (sign missing). Then follow signs to park. Turn on Marine View Dr., which runs through the park. Turn left into the park.

From the north:
Take exit #149 off of I-5, go west, then turn south on Hwy. 99 (sign missing). Follow the signs into the park. Turn right on 240th at the Midway Drive-in. Turn left on Marine View Dr. and turn right into the park.

here is the link to the web site for the park
http://www.parks.wa.gov/parkpage.asp?selectedpark=Saltwater&pageno=1

i figure if you want to bring something for a BBQ e-mail me and if you dont and you want to eat on your own thats ok.

K. I call Hamburger and Hamburger buns. I’ll plan on bringing qty: 20. That should cover us?

Idea – How about we all meet up at the 76 station on Pac Hwy just before we roll into the park. We’re all into making our cars stand out, and make people look right?…

Bad news guy, I don't think I'll be making it. Its been a bad week for the MX, First I sold me & my girl's base model, Someone screw divered my SE's PS Door to try and break in, And finally I was rear-ended in the SE and the rear is screwed. If I can peace it togeather in time, I'll try and make it, we'll see how fast FX can ship.
Later, Prey for the MX......
