I've never seen a remote control lic plate hideaway setup like you describe. Sounds very James Bond-like. For legal use at least, the only product that seems available is a hinged spring tensioned plate frame that allows the plate to flip up for access to a hidden trailer hitch receiver and that kind of set up isn't remote controlled. For your purposes (which I'm sure must be legal right? ;) ) I'd think you'd have to design something yourself. Or, have the same ppl that set up James Bond's trick car design one for you. Probably have to use a small motor like one from a flip-up headlight assembly off some old junker or maybe a power antenna control motor etc.

I saw one of these at SCP2 in mtl.... the liscence plate hid away followed by about 20 bright lights turning on to blind the person, then a DIFFERENT plate came out. I was blown away!

you could make a turning wheel that could be blank on one side and the plate on the other, kind of like in that movie a few years ago, the negotiator(i think it was called) eccept his had different plates on it(because he was a get-away driver)
you arnt planning to knock off some banks are you? ;) lol

not to get caught by cops, I mean I wont if i run with 440 under hood, all I have to do is not let them see license #, they cant prove anything after they lost me.

i've always wanted to do something of the sort...the rotating license plate like in Transporter (and Taxi 1, 2, 3, if you've seen it, its a french movie, the Americanised version is comming out in fall) are those long thing plates, easier to do than our large rectangular plates...it though was an actuator that pulled the plate up into that crevice above the plate in our Mx-3's. I've never deeply looked into it, but its always something i wanted to do

the radio system only does any good if you are on a highway with no exits nearby or a small town with a cop on the road ahead of you

You are forgetting that cops have a monster inside of a "slow" car body. I woulnd't be surprised if the cop car could hold its own v that dodge ;) .

actually i have the 2005 ford fleet catalog right here and the specs on the cop cars that everyone buys from ford are pretty shabby at most

the 2005 ford crown vic police interceptor only has 255hp , the only thing they mention about an option is the larger alternator allowing more power to power all the crap in a cop cruiser, and remember how much a cop car weighs with all that crap compared to a stripped down car with a monster engine under the hooed

i guarantee mitmaks' 440 will stomp a interceptor , oh and btw if you have ever seen mischief 3000 the gumball rally one, in the extras theres a guy who had a porsche RUF that was beating the radio, they were intercepting the cop over the radio and he was telling the other officers of where to stop him and he was already ahead of them so , yes you can beat a radio, but if you got caught say goodbye to your car and your driving record, try to get insurance after that!!
