KLZE Perfomance

How much horsepower does klze engine have, and after swapping one in a 5-spd mx-3 what would its speed be like 0-60 and 1/4 mile?
And fuel economy would probably suck wouldnt it?

lol you havent searched much have you? KLZE has 200 (some ppl say 195-ish) hp, mx-3 with a ZE (with proper ecu) should run 14s in the 1/4 (most people get high 14s with ZE), and i think 0-60 will be 5.5-6ish sec with optimum setup. people have varying results though. oh and with the ZE ecu, fuel economy is pretty much exactly the same as with K8.

Some people even report better fuel economy when going from the K8 to a KL. I suspect that's because people don't have to rev the engine out as far to accelerate briskly.

Yep, definitely better gas milleage, city i get over 100 more km's par tank, i still cant believe it. WIth the cold waether i was getting about 300-330km's a tank with my ZE, but with teh warm weather back, im back into the 400's. Did a 420km tank last tank. With my k8 i was getting at most 350km's a tank

yeah I second that, mileage is almost as good as my k8. I get about 400km to a tank with my ze all winter long (till the gas light comes on). In the summer...well...I dont know. I haven't had this setup of ze ecu and je50 vaf in the summer yet. But with the 2.5 ecu (aspec) and the 2.5 vaf I was getting about 430 a tank.
