Well with an intake, plugs, wires, and gooood gas I beat a crx. It also helps that mx-3 owners are better drivers

Re: MX-3 RS (SOHC) vs CRX si
I have raced a CRX Si we both had intakes and exhausts...by the way I have an RS (4 cyl). We took off at the same time and shifted at the same time (we were even the whole time) and I had someone else in my car. I think I wouldve had him if I wouldnt have had to slow down. It might really depend on the driver though.
------------------
Megen Murphy
Dont hate me because Im beautiful, hate me because my car looks better than your boyfriends!

I have a 92 GS, been tuned up everything fixed. All i have is intake. I know people really love their MX-3s, but they really arn't that fast. Sure they are fun to play around in and race the little punk revving his engine in the 84 Corolla, but hey... maybe its just me.

Hello,
Not fast?? Maybe not stock but my modded 1.6 has been passin up alot of other imports. Accord vtech, eclipse, neon, civics.... just to name a few. If you put your heart and soul behind that wheel you can accomplish anything. Believe in your car and great things will happen/
quote:
Originally posted by SmokyMcGee:
I have a 92 GS, been tuned up everything fixed. Re: MX-3 RS (SOHC) vs CRX si
I'll race anything on wheels if it wants to. I mean, what the heck, as long as the winner doesn't hold the pink slip, what do you lose? It's fun and somtimes you can get a revv or two out of a porsche or somthin
Now I'm not saying it's always safe eitherr but use your own disgression there... As for not fast, I agree with Mr.thor. My GS autos with an intake and exhaust have beaten quite a few cars. Si's and Z28's included. I couldn't imagine if I had a stick-SHIFT
