Do you have any cracks in the intake? Is the VAF connected. I don't know if it will run after it warms up without the VAF, but sounds kinda like how mine ran when I forgot to hook VAF up.

Maybe a head gasket problem that seals when it is warmed up? I'm just throwing out ideas not trying to scare you.

Hey the exact same thing just happened to me, and it was a head gasket! Sorry man, hope thats not it.

I got the same thing with my KLZE, its the valve cover gaskets for me

keep me updated, i have the exact same problem - but I suspect ot to be the coolant temp sensor near the IM, because hwen I plug it in , and un-plug it , it does absolutely nothing

Instead of the CEL, you can connect an LED between FEN and GND in the diag box, to read the codes.
