Found a quiet Performance Muffler : )
ok, so after having a magnaflow race series muffler on for 4-5 months i couldnt take the noise and droning anylonger. So i started looking for a quiet muffler that is still straight through and looks good. And i found one. I had it installed today. Its awsome, there is alittle exhaust tone, its free flowing and doesnt drone at all! Its a the Mazda Protege Mp3 muffler. I highly reccommend it to anyone looking for performance and looks, without the noise. I'll try to get some pics up in the next few days. It ended up costing me 265cnd installed.
Mods:
- ZE, Mike seli 214 intake cams, Ported n polished heads, Interprep valve springs, DE retainers, rebuilt bottom end, toga main and rod bearings, toga hv oil pump, CZT 67mm tb, mbx udp, ported intake mani, SS headers, 2.5inch full exhaust, racingbeat muffler, highflow cat, megasquirt v2.
new toy, 86 TII rx7, JDM S5 motor/turbo, + alot of other goodies

best thing to do if anyone wants an open exaust system (no restriction) is get a couple glass pack resonators and a straigth through exhaust and it will be silent as heck
