mass air flow sensor

i saw on cardomain were a guy said that a mass air flow sensor from an rx-7 gained him some hp on a miata. would this be possible for the 1.8l mx-3? if so i think it would be a nice thing to get before a full intake

our VAF is a cone-shaped "vane" while the protege/miata/rx7 VAF is a flap door setup. If you look at the afm on them you'll see why. <p>The 92-93 RS guys could benefit from a RX7 vaf though, because theirs are the same type on their SOHC 16v B6's
