You can push the 1.8 V6 to 7600 rpm (indicated) before the rev-limiter kicks in. Even in fifth gear

Here is the facts on my GS in fifth gear.<P>MPH = indicated RPMs x2<P>example 4000 rpms = 80MPH<P>so 7500 rpms would equal 150MPH <BR>BUT! my rev limiter kicks in at 7200 RPMs<BR>so my to speed wold only be 144MPH<P>If yours rev limiter will go past 7500 than 150 MPH is possible.<P>If you are in the passengers seat and some one else is driving and you look over at the speedo your seeing it on an angle and the needle looks like its pointing at 150 when the driver would see that it is really pointing at 140-145.

i hit 198 kmph about 123 mph with my 92 gs. The car won't go faster and the rpm was at 5500. What can i do the make the rpm go higher

check your tire rating, maybe its your tires limiting your speed. If not, something is wrong as your engine is not running at optimum capacity
