Saving for kit, need cheap ideas
Hey, this may sound dumb. But I have finally decided I am going to start saving for a body kit and paint job. But its gonna take me at least 6 months. I need some ideas for free or really cheap mods to keep me occupied until then. I hate when so much time goes by and my car is exactly the same, hehe.

I'd just save it all for the paint, are you doing it yourself? Save up and paint interior pieces, and get it cut and buffed by a guy who is used to doing that to show cars, it makes a big difference. Maybe even do 2-3 clear coats, I get impatient like you, but save up and it'll be worth it.

I agree with doing painted interior accents. It also depends. What mods have you done so far?

This is my car so far...

you can tint the back lights, get universal side markers, clear turn signles, polish your headlights, get those super white or blue headlight bulbs, buy some mdf and build some sort of nice box for a system if u ever have one or plan on it, paint your calipers red (would look really nice with those rims). work on under the hood and buy a dress up kit (hose covers or new hoses, Bolt caps, oil cap ect)
[ January 04, 2003: Message edited by: Loopy1 ]
