voice recognition

has anyone ever try using the voice recognition feature that Came with windows . It seems to work quite well; I use that to "type" this message . I didn't use a key ! :2thumbsup:

Hehe well mine apparently has issues....
My husband came back from Iraq on R&R and then the CD-RW drive goes kaput... ahh well here's to buying another one... guess I'll get a DVD-R one this time...

No voice recognition stuff though... hehe it wouldn't work anyways since I always have music playing... silence is nonexistant here... *bwhahahaha*

try Voodoo Voice for Winamp :)
it works pretty well on my Car PC... if the music isnt too loud.

OMG! I gotta try that!! Does it need training?

I got the sterring wheel remote so thats not a problem ATT-ing it :D

I typically use the voice recongnition built into "Windows XP Tabley PC Edition" and run that on my CarPC, but im definitely gonna try that other software

Yes, it does require you to read atleast one passage to train your voice. It will be about 80% accurate after one session. So far, I've done three different sessions, and I'm around 85% with soft music in the background :D .
