Well it is done. From what I can tell the only reason not to take the engine out by itself is that there would be no room to move it off of the tranny input shaft. Oh well. I could do it in half the time if I had to do it again. BTW the new engine runs SWEET. I am having EGR issues but it is smooth!

EGR HACK?
I just swapped in a JDm k8 engine with no egr. is there any way to fool the engine into thinking that everything is there? Could I just hook up all of the wires to the solenoids and EGR valve but not have them functioning? Is there a way to just hack the wiring so I don`t have to have any of those ...

EASY SWAP QUESTION *UPDATED*
I am going to swap out my k8 this weekend for another jdm k8. My question is; is it easier to pull the engine and tranny as a unit and unbolt them outside of the car or is it easier to unbolt them and just remove the engine. I have done many engine swaps before, but I am not sure which way to go ...
