Re: Oil Leak

Ok no ideas where the leak was from but I torqued down the valve covers and oil pan and took it for a rip, no leaks. Although I did realize I didn't have any insurance on the car as I drove by a cop.

Re: Oil Leak

Update Ok I found out that I was checking the wrong bolt for tranny oil level, level is fine. I started it up and let it run for a while but didn't notice any oil leaking, there was still some drops of engine oil in places but hardly anything. I did notice a fuel leak though, where I did the duel fu...

Re: Please help! Battery keeps randomly dying of unknown cause!

not if it was the battery posts because they may not be properly connecting to the battery but when you put the jumper cables on they are giving power straight to the starter, I would clean the battery posts and tighten down the clamps.

Oil Leak

Greetings, Ok here is my problem, I was driving my car home from work one day when I pulled to a stop sign and pressed the clutch my car stalled, then every time I let off the gas ( to shift, if I didn't shift fast enough) the car would try to stall. I made it home but then noticed a trail of oil be...

I tightened the axle nut and it seems fine. So that was the problem.

Thanks

I took off the tire and was about to loosen the big nut (can't remember its name) and realised it was loose. so now that the source is figured out, should i still replace the bearing?

Thanks for the response. I went outside and kicked my rim and noticed that it vibrated slightly more than the other rims (the jack is at the cabin apparently). So I guess I'll be replacing the bearings, oh well not the first time. LOL I never even noticed my avatar. I think the last time I was on th...

noise in front end

greetings, I have noticed an odd noise coming from the front end of my car. It sounds like a distant jackhammer pounding away when I am at high speeds. The sound decreases in intensity and the speed of the pounding as I decrease my speed. The sound only is omitted when I keep the steering wheel stra...

Won't the amount of air shown by KL02 (excessive from K8ECU standpoint) be compensated by larger KL injectors (which K8ECU doesnt know anything about)? I don't actually know, you would think so, but the dyno said that i was running at 14.8 fuel ratio. And i was talking with Rick and he said just pu...

You said you had 2 good runs but that rest have been bad, correct? I would check your timing, Make sure your engine is grounded properly. I personally recomend the k8 ecu and je50 set up until you get either the eprom or msns. the k8 ecu and kl02 vaf had a lack of power compaired to the je50. plus t...
