The miata bp block is the same as the 95-99 protege BP...Exactly the same...
The differences are in the computer...Tis' it..

I have a BP in my 1995 RS 1.6L... i'm running the b6 computer and it's going Quite well so far..

You can bolt the miata block into the car, you have to use all of the mx-3 ...

Modding your headlights is illegal in most states of the US. Legal on a civic or otherwise. Altering them from the stock setup is technically illegal. Most cops wont notice if you do a good job though.

They made AWD and FWD talons.


Too bad the spyder isn't a GSX.

Very good... but the FWD ones didnt come with the sticker on the lower rear quarter panel that says "16V DOHC AWD TURBO"

Next weekend, Im pulling my RS motor and tranny, Pulling my GS motor and tranny an putting it in my RS.


LOL Your gonna be doing a lot more than just swapping motors and trannies LOL

Swapping wiring harnesses... ecu.. suspension... steering rack & gear box converting your RS from a ATX to MTX ...

I too wanted the ZE in my car, '95... but alas, twasn't a drop in.

I am in love with the interior of the newer models, so I can't go for the v6 version, either :(

Whys isnt it a drop in? Everything bolts up without modification.

I put a BP into my GS w/o any issues. Now I am working on boosting ...

wow where did you get those mazdaspeed tower bars...how long did it take yo uto install your steel clutch and brake lines?

Lines didnt take long at all, bleeding them and getting all the old ...

Yes the GTR manifold flows much more freely.

On an NA application you will see a nominal increase in HP, and torque will suffer b/c of the loss of VICS.

On boosted applications, the better flow will yeild in a much better power gain.

I plan on cutting my seat rails and modding them back, so I sit an additional 6 inches back from where stock sits.... Eliminates the back seat and gives me plenty of leg room.

Afterthat I am gonna try to fiberglass something up to go where the rear seat was with some setero equipment.

I would look into the Ford Escort ZX2 S/R strut & spring combo or combine the struts with some Eibach or H&R springs or Ground Control coilovers.

Tons of info out there abuot the ZX2 stuff... check it out.

Oh, and dremeling out the mounts doesn't count as customization. If you can ...
