Sweet setup man! If you ever get the chance though, so listen to someone with a similar setup with a ported box.... You will love what you hear if the box is made right ;)
Also Barry, half the stuff you said was repeated, and if you were a professional installer I doubt you would be running a cap ...

So I have gotten rid of my car, and am not going to need these bushings. They are 90 duro and are perfect for anyone looking to get a lot better response out of their car. I upgraded to the SRD ones, but needed some that needed less re-greasing. These ones come with the grease channels!! Great ...

Yeah, I used the expensive synthetic, Redline, and it just turned out bad... I had no leaks, then all of a sudden I have 4 leaks.... go figure!

Oh and I say go for it. I don't have A/C in my car and have been thinking about doing this same thing for years... Being an electrican and HVAC guy I really think it would work, atleast get you 10-12 degrees cooling at worst!

I have a respun 185amp alternator on my BP. I honestly don't notice any abnormal change in idle when it kicks on. It sure does keep my voltage at 14.4 even with my kicker kx1200.1 pushing out its max power to my L7... :D
You can get one respun for anywhere from $175-$350. My local shop wanted $350 ...
