A bad ECU can kill the engine? I can´t figure how it can do. The seller has good feedbacks about that chip, really is a simple programed EPROM, the same that a EPROM from a Mazda ECU. My K8 ECU and the Probe ECU that I bought are the same, the only difference between is that EPROM. If the program i...

Mazdaspeed is now a part of Mazda, and you can get Mazdaspeed parts over the counter at the dealerships.
(in the US atleast, here in Norway they haven`t even heard of Mazdaspeed...)

Strange, the European models all had ABS as far as I have seen.
I know my 92 GS has it atleast. (is it just to pull the fuse to turn it of, or will that create error codes?)

I thought ABS was standard on the Mx-3.

For the DE & ZE you can get anything you want over the counter.

http://www.importperformanceparts.net/ has it all for pretty decent prices.

I believe the GTX engine is a poor choice for high poweroutputs.
If i recollect correctly it`s a 1.6l with 165hp stock.

For the amount of power you are aiming for, a 1.8 BP with forged internals, port & polish and a t3/t04e should be able to make between 3 & 400hp.

So Yoda, you're telling me the Kia Sportage with an FE3 has an 18:1 compression ratio? I doubt it. There have been a couple of people that have done the swap and I'm just curious at what had to be done to make the swap possible? Thanks for any help. Bryan Being an ex diesel, it can take a lot of bo...

I believe the pic is wrong. (unless the DE looks that way).
It says KL so I think it`s a KLDE.

If you look further down the page, they list KLZE too.

I have those on my car. But I paid a bit more than $100 for them. A pain to install, as it`s so tight to actually remove the old headers and get these on. Also, you have to move the original cat backwards so it`s located right under the shifter linkage, wich sucks. I`m trying to find a solution to t...

I think it`s from a Kia. Not sure about the model though.

I expect it`s kinda expensive, since it`s a pretty new engine.

EDIT: Seems I was way of there :) Actually a pretty old engine.
