Demonic1:
May be I should just return all of the stuff I bought and just purchase the same switches that you did? Can you tell me again, where you got them?
Thanks,
Silver

Re: Replacing power window switch with two 6-Pin DPDT switch
OK, I thought that you were going to send pictures of how you mounted them in the door? That would sure save a lot of labor and time. Can you help?

Wow, so I don't even need to make it fit into the console? Incredible. Let me know.

Re: Replacing power window switch with two 6-Pin DPDT switch
Hey Demonic1: I have purchased most of the wire etc that I am going to need but I thought I would let you know that the Blk/Rd wire on the bottom left is actually your 12v for the '95 series. It's the only thing that makes sense. I will find out very soon as I will be working on it over the weekend....

So, I just ignore the Blk/Red wire that you had questioned?

Re: Replacing power window switch with two 6-Pin DPDT switch
Just so I know what I am doing, where is your first post? Because mine is a '95. I thought your block diagram was super.

Replacing power window switch with two 6-Pin DPDT switches
I have posted before and really still don't know which wire goes where but I did find out that I needed a 6-Pin DPDT switch to make this work. I have looked at other posts but none that I have found tell you which color wire goes where on the DPDT. I have identified the black wire on the lower left ...

Re: How do I replace power window switches with 2-5 pin swit
Thank you:
I did look at this prior to posting but, unfortunately, I am not very good at figuring which wire goes where. If anyone knows which wire to place where, that would help a novice like me.
Thanks again,
Silver

Re: How do I replace power window switches with 2-5 pin swit
Nd4SpdSe: Thank you for the advice but I wouldn't know a double-pole, double-throw switch if I saw one. I was just hoping someone could tell me which wires to solder to which pin. All I can tell you is that it is a rocker switch 12v DC and it has 5 pins on it. I wanted to replace both of the switche...

How do I replace power window switches with 2-5 pin switches
Hello: I am new here and should have joined a long time ago. I have a '95 mx-3 and have replaced the entire power window switch mechanism 3 times. Very frustrating and very expensive. I thought possibly I could buy 2 - 5 pin rocker switches to replace them both. I was in a situation where the driver...
