Re: Lotek springs and struts?
So, how did the springs turn out? Obviously the KYB struts/shocks should be good to go handling a smaller drop, but were the springs good enough?

Re: 1993 B6 5 Speed Front End Noise
Got a side-by-side comparison of the old front engine mount and the brand new one from Anchor (PN 8064). http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f225/CaffeineTripp/B6-ME/B6-ME%20Engine%20and%20Transmission%20Mounts/Engine%20Mount%20Front%202_zpsdl80xzug.jpg The picture doesn't really do the old one justic...

Cosmo Racing Short Ram/Cold Air Intake
I haven't seen much on the Cosmo Racing besides a couple posts about the short shifter and the AFPR. Has anyone bought one as a direct fit over going with the Integra/Civic intake? How was the quality/craftsmanship? Seems to be spot on from the pictures, but pictures are one thing, having the produc...

Re: 1993 B6 5 Speed Front End Noise
Doing a little more digging I've found that the front engine/transmission mount is bad as well. http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f225/CaffeineTripp/B6-ME/B6-ME%20Engine%20and%20Transmission%20Mounts/Engine%20Mount%20Front%201_zpsxz5kwe7e.jpg As you can see, the transmission is basically sitting on ...

Re: 1993 B6 5 Speed Front End Noise
Ended up replacing the passenger side bushings since I know it's bad. Here's the comparison from the 1993's and the new '95's. http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f225/CaffeineTripp/B6-ME/Rear%20Control%20Arm%20Bushings/Control%20Arm%20Bushing%20Comparison%201_zpscxnlbaln.jpg The difference in the out...

The bushings came in just today, might get some time to put them on this Sunday or Tuesday. http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f225/CaffeineTripp/B6-ME/Rear%20Control%20Arm%20Bushings/MX-3%20Rear%20Control%20Arm%20Bushings%202_zpsmfqgx5ls.jpg http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f225/CaffeineTripp/B6-ME...

Re: 1993 B6 5 Speed Front End Noise
Purchased the rear bushings for the control arm on the vehicle, should be arriving sometime next week. Got them from RockAuto for $44.73 shipped. I'll end up doing a comparison of the old and the new for mounting and rubber bushing itself. Simply haven't had time to get the parts and install parts l...

Re: 1993 B6 5 Speed Front End Noise
Ended up removing the passenger control arm yesterday to check for cracking anywhere. Looked at the bolts that hold the ball joint in and they were fine. Checked bolts and tightness of them for the control arm and they were a bit of a PITA to remove, so they're definitely good. Removed the rear bush...

Re: 1993 B6 5 Speed Front End Noise
Tight as tight can be. I may, however, remove the spindle from the ball joints and check to see if there's play, but it doesn't seem that there will be just from moving the wheels; everything is solid.

1993 B6 5 Speed Front End Noise [Solved]
Clunking from front end near wheels, only over bumps, of course. Replaced sway bar end links, struts, strut mounts. Control arm bushings on both sides are in good condition. Tie rods and ball joints are tight. Rack and pinion mounts are fine. Sway bar bushings at frame are good. Front engine/transmi...

[WTB] Throttle Position Sensor Connector K8/KL
Since ours is quite frayed, I'll be looking for a new one to knock out the last problem of the random dying for the engine.

Re: KL-ZE Swap Randomly Dying
Alright, getting closer, but now it's time to replace the Throttle Position Sensor Connector; the wires are awful. I could only find a connector at two outlets; AutoZone and RockAuto. Both are about fifty bucks. Yeah, that's a bit expensive. Tried crossing the part number as well, even through Mazda...

Re: KL-ZE Swap Randomly Dying
I'm glad you got this to idle on its own, but think what you did is use the throttle plate stop to keep the throttle slightly opened (= your foot lightly pressing on the accelerator pedal). Either the air passage that is controlled by the idle screw is mucked up. Or possibly the original owner comb...

Retrieving Codes from KL36 ECU
I would assume that it would be the same as any other Mazda, or any other car, out there from the early nineties, however, this one is given me some trouble. When I jump TEN to GND, and either GND, the CEL does not flash, does not illuminate. It does, however, turn the cooling fan on. Is there a sep...
