I looked through the BETM and I really could not find where the plugs are... I did see some in the Horn section...

OK i wrote myself a note, I'll bring the entire manual tomorrow and try to scan the whole thing in...

Simular to the one online here on this forum but for a 93?

Reason I ask is I FINALLY got my steering wheel off and was looking at the wire connector things that plug into each other and trying to compare it to the pinout sheet of the ...

Combo Switch Wiring Diagram to 93 MX3 - Please Help

Ok...first I did look at the Wiring diagrams that are online.
Second...they list a 95 and looking at the harness from the steering colum...the wires DO NOT MATCH.
In fact they are in different locations in the harnes and different colors.

Im hoping someone on here has the wiring diagrams to a 1993 ...

i had the same prob with mine 1 and 2 worked great 3-5 sucked and hills killed me after looking around under my hood i found that my timing belt slipped or the dunm a@@ that worked on it setup up wrong i re timed and now run the nuts... i would take the covers off and just look at the timeing , if ...

you can advance or retard your timing by hooking up a timing light to one of your spark plug wires. then loosen the 2 bolts holding on your distributer. slowly turn the distributer clockwise to advance your timing. but if you do advance your timing then you should use no less the 91 octain fuel ...

Timing

Is it possible to retime the MX3?

I have a 93 spec and I have no power/accelleration in 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear.

I heard you can turn the distributor but another person told me I have to take the timing belt off and retime it that way.

Whos right?

I havent seen connector pinouts for 93 anywhere - you can try the online manual page Z-066 and go from there.

Odds are - the wire colors will be the same before and after the connector - so if you know what wire does what - you can pretty much "know" the pinout....

It is a GS. Pretty much everything will be left, but it will all be crap, haha. I am stealing the motor out of it (it's a KLZE) and the wheels, maybe some suspension parts if they are in better condition than the ones I have. Other than that, it will all be there.

I looked at the online manual and some of it isnt clearly scanned...
And the wires seem to be different colors...
