ok finally got the motor in last night... but i ran into a problem with the injectors... somethin about the plugs not matching? any of you guys got any tips?

well i got the motor and i looked at it and it had a fat ford emblem on it and i thought that the bp motor was a mazda engine... but it is a DOHC so i dont know... my friends putting it in so i should find out today or tommorow

it came from a mercury tracer lts

ok i got an engine thinking that it was a bp... turns out that the engine is a b8 dual overhead cam with about 127hp. does anybody know if this engine is easy to put in and if it is any good? the motor is already paid for and stuff so nothing much that i can do besides put it in... lemme know any in...

ok i got a bp engine and tranny off of a escort gt... i know the engine will bolt up directly but what about the tranny... i have the escort as a parts car and i can get parts redilly... do i use the transmission mounts off the escort or will the ones from the mx3 fit...

ok i just bought a bp motor and trans off of a escort gt... will the tranny fit right in or do i need to make custom brakets... kinda dont wanna spend that much money and there are no protoge lx's in my area (already checked all junkyards within 500 miles)... can i use the brakets from the escort gt?

well i got up to 100 mph in my SOHC but i know thats reaching the limit... the motor still had plenty of RPM left but its just the wind resistance is too much for the car to go anyfaster without more power...

okay i found a bp motor at a junkyard with 20000 miles on it and it runs really good... the guy only wants 425 for it and im gonna pick it up next week... can the motor mounts and tranny bolt right up to the bp or do i have to make modifications?

hey for my SOHC i bought the monza cat back exhaust and a weapon r intake.... works pretty well and the exhaust fit perfectly...cost me like 300 total

well tru tru but still to make that amount of power its alot of money... a thing which i dont have... considering i make minimum wage... but im willing to buy turbo or motor... which do you guys think is better... my SOHC runs great and i think the turbo would be a nice edition

well i mean yeah i understand that hp = money... but i dont think a bp swap is a good idea... i mean the cars that you get the engines from are already 15+ years old... so its really no point because the engines are outdated...

so do you guys think its worth it to buy the kit??? or should i just upgrade other things on the car to get the horsepower.... i personally think 2g's is alot of money... more than i paid for the car infact
