Thanks for the offer i think shipping might be a tad expensive as you say. Ill just make a pipe up I can get 3 metres of 10mm copper pipe for £10 then just make like a hill billie.:-)

Power Steering cooling pipe

Like most MX-3`s the return cooling pipe for the power steering on my MX-3 has had its day. No way am i paying what they are asking for an OEM replacement part. So i took it to my local garage who are quite handy with pipe making etc and they said they would simply cut the pipe off and stick a rubbe...

Yes all the vibration and knocking is coming through the gear stick.

The clutch on my MX3 failed last week and I took it to a garage to get repaired. They took over a week to repair and said the spigot bearing had seized. Anyway they fitted a new clutch and replaced the spigot bearing. I have just picked it up and I am getting loads of vibration through the gear stic...

Thanks for all the advise the belts were not new belts as they had been changed only 3 months earlier. Just been back to the dealer with the car now who offered to do the labour but said i would have too pay for the belt which resulted in a right old argument. Well we ran into a major snag we couldnt get the crankshaft pulley bolt undone even with it in gear and foot on brake and the plugs out it wouldnt budge! :(

Ok so i have now been advised to change the belt as well even though its only done 20K. I was told i might need a cam belt kit or two idle pullies and a tensioner. Hi thanks for the reply thats the info i needed i appreciate the input the belt doesnt need doing anyway it was only done 20K ago and mazda say 60K plus i need it back on the road asap. Thanks for the advice.

Hi I have a vibration coming through the clutch pedal which increases with revs it only started yesterday. If i put the clutch in it stops. Also does it when the car is in neutral. Well unfortunately TB is on the increase all over the world and a surprising number of people get it even in the good old USA as its getting resistant too alot of anti-biotics. The kind of thing you only find out afterwards. Anyway you got any suggestions on why my engine keeps hesistating?
