Exhaust question

I wasnt really sure where to put this, so Barry if you feel like moving it then go right ahead. But I was wondering, we have all seen the fast and the furious, and in the 1st street race, all the cars have flames coming out of there exhausts. I was wondering how that is done. Is it type of exhaust? or something from the engine, or what?

you can buy the kit for it or you can do the inexpensive way with a sparkplug
