How to : Fit rear 323F spats to the front arches.

Mazda 323F rear spats make a nice addition to the front rather than the mudguards. Here is a basic guide:

Take your spat looking like this:

Cut around this much out of the spat, and also remove the tabs on the inside. I used tin snips for this:

Make yourself up some brackets and small nut & bolt sets:

Give them a scrub down with scotchbrite and warm soapy water, before painting:

and refit once dry:

Only thing missing from this write up is some trim tape of velcro to hold the end up:

Wheel back on, put car back down, make a brew and stand back and admire the subtle changes:

Very cool write up. I dont think there rare at all. Ive seen them on every 323F i have come across. Maybe another V6 only thing like the GS front lip :shrug:

i'd love to pick a set up and try to mod them in with mudguards....
