Hatch and windshield molding

Just wondering if anyone on here had replaced their windshield/hatch moldings via a glass company/other. Just the rubber molding pieces that press around the outside of the windows. My windows are fine, The moldings were in pretty bad shape.
I'm getting ready to prime the car. I removed the shot moldings in order to have better access and to sand out someone's poor repaint line up against them. I wouldn't have these on the car anyway after repainting it, they would stick out like a sour thumb.
Anyone replace them via glass shop or self?
Thanks

I had mine done by a glass company. OEM mazda molding was the only one they could get, looks great now.

............... Really? I'm surprised more people haven't done this.
Considering, almost every Mx-3 out there with original moldings must look pretty ratty by now......
Mine were super hard. There has to be some source out there to get a closely matching
molding, even if you have to install it with alternative means.

I have not been able to find a good aftermarket molding for the mx-3. OEM seems to be the way to go...even though it is a little expensive.

Just had a new window put in my 94 MX6, rubber window trim came new with the window. There must be generic window moulding. Mines not the same as the original but looks factory non the less.

Window or Windshield?
If we are just talking about windshield moulding, aftermarket glass company stuff works great. I have the same stuff on my car. I just don't know who to trust when it comes to aftermarket panels/trim/rubber on the Mx-3's....

Right, I'm sure there must be some source for after market molding.
Those windshields are coming with them and those probably are not OEM.
