I have a 93 Mazda MX-3 V6 1.8. I have tried to get it smogged several times, but it is noted as a mass polluter. Since then I got a brand new catalytic converter, and that pretty much fixed the problem. but now, I am told that I dont have a "stock" air intake, and its illegal here in california without a CARB sticker.....Does anyone have a stock air intake for this car? Or maybe a CARB sticker I could have? So i could finally get it smogged, and sold? I have 4 vehicles right now, and am moving soon and this was my fun little car to have, but its time to get it sold.. Unless someone on here wants to buy it?

Do you need the full intake assembly? throttle body to airbox and then the actual air box?

I need everything after the intake manifold except the MAF. I have that

So does anyone have an intake setup that they could part with? i really need to get this car smogged...lol

I just bought a cai adaptor to replace the stock box and filter, but I won't be able to install it till this dam snow goes away...

I didn't buy a whole kit thoe, so I am keeping the stock piping of now... I don't know if this helps at all...

well i need the piping too....unless i can install the box with this current piping and have the smog guys say its good?

Well if your kit will work on a SOHC 4cly, then I can just trade you

will what you have work on my v6 1.8 dohc? if so, i think we have a deal

Surgeon his setup will work fitment wise but you need to change the maf and the nipple may be a little too short.

Assuming that you are giving usnjenkins a 4 bangr set up, this will not fit his car. The k8 intake hose and the box are different compared to the b6.

king, just wondering, how do I check to see what type of engine I have? I dont think I have ever known....lol i could check tonight after I get off work. and not the size, its a v6 1.8, but the model, like k8 or klze.

U could find someone here just starting a project with a v6 and swap with them! If I had a v6 I would do it I have no smog laws in Michigan

Have you found an air box yet? I should have one in my parts car im parting out.
