Money, where should I put it?

My work occasionally sells floor models of all products, and currently we have some ridiculous buys available.

One in particular has caught my eye, a 33 gallon Craftsman air compressor(vertical, standing type) with a 150 PSI maximum. Typically sells for $399.99, but with it being a floor model, and an additional 10% sale coupled with my employee discount... I can pick it up for 50% off. :freak:

My real dilemma is simple... It's a little big to lug around in the back of an MX-3. The largest compressor that will fit in my car(that my work carries) is a 12 gallon(125 PSI) vertical compressor. This compressor rings up at $140 after sales and my employee discount...

Should I suck it up and buy the one that is harder to lug around, because it's a WAAAAY better buy? Or should I buy the smaller unit, be content with the $60 I saved, and enjoy the fact that it fits nicely in my MX-3?

Suck it up and buy the big one... Cuz some day you will get another car eaither to replace your mx or hopefully in addition and will have more space...

Bigger is always better!!! ;)

Why do you need bigger compressor? If it's really worth it you should buy it.
I know mine won't fit in my car (60 gal upright) but I only need it in my garage.

Most Automotive air tools work better when you have a larger storage tank.. I would figure out a way to bribe a buddy with a truck to bring the big one home..

The bigger one is a WAAAAY better buy for what I would be getting...

Driving it home isn't an issue, I have an SUV right next door that I can borrow at a moment's notice. The problem is that I am moving soon, and have no plans to get an SUV/Truck for quite a while. The thing would never fit in the back of an MX-3, even with full rear seat removal. :(

It's definitely a better buy, but it's large enough that it may be an impedance down the road... Honestly, I could sell it for what I am paying at this point if that day does come.

Meh, I'll buy the monster.

Thank you guys! ;)

It wouldn't go very far in the MX-3 world, unfortunately!

Go big or go home home boy. You may want to do a little painting or yes, air tools need a bigger compressor/tank. Size does matter

like i said man the bigger one will be better and is the better deal, and you can unload it if you move and you don't have a buddy to help you move it :)
