Rear bumper cover body kit

Post by mitmaks »

I was just browsing through Ebay to see what is out there for mx-3 and came across this rear bumper cover body kit.
I think it looks decent with the wheels, smoked LED tail lights, etc. Not riced out and fairly clean look, what do you guys think?

Yeah that looks very cool but will it look like that in real life...maybe not...... I mean your going to have to go with dual exhausts and the holes around it will expose all the old suspension bits lol

I think for the most part the ride hide makes that rear bumper as weird as that sounds.....

Honestly, the only thing I like about it is the fact that the bumper sits lower than ours... I hate that you can see half the undercarriage(exaggerating a little) from the rear.

True dual exhausts would also be pretty much required to make it look natural, and you'd need dual tip mufflers as that image shows.

You could always customize it, you could even have exhaust in the center like RX-8. Fiberglass is fun to work with so you could always customize this cover, add/delete body lines, holes, etc.

That does look nice, maybe you can post more pics of it from different angles, etc.

Exactly this^ with the ''proper'' ride height you can get away with so much more custom/OTT/flamboyant bodywork for it to look OK imho.
