hi all

i was working on my car and it was running.
it whas in neutral and i reved a few times and it suddently dies

i have a spark but my fuel is cut of
injectors are not firing.

checked the fuel pump ( f/p grnd) i have fuel pressure
checked camshaftsensor.
swaped the ignition
swapped ecu(k8)

still no start

what can i do

fuel pump relay?

checked the relay and even bypassed it(green to ground) and its ok it switches.


what can this be?

So you have fuel pressure at the rails?

When you take the inlet manifold off and crank there is no fuel coming out of the injectors?

Do you have the fuel lines the right way round? FPR is on the return side, that's a common mistake.

fuel lines are correctly mounted i have fuel pressure at my rail
but my spark plugs are dry

i think that my injectors wont open

if i detach my fuel relais the car starts but runs extremly rough and when i touch the gas i dies

i mesured also the vaf
open 200 ohm
half way around 740
and deeper in it decrease

any 1 got a idea?

Check to make sure your fuel lines are not reversed? it happens

the fuel lines are not reversed i drove more than a year like this.

Oh though you had just put in the motor. you asked for suggestions...

Does B+ exist at the fuel pump terminal with the ignition on? (not jumped at the diagnostic box) If NO, it's the fuel pump relay.

Is there fuel injector operation sound when cranking? If YES, and the fuel pressure is good at the rail, it's probably the ECU. If NO...

Does B+ exist at the correct terminal of the ECU with the ignition on? If YES check the voltages at the ECU injector terminals. If voltages are low, the ECU is bad. If NO, you're losing battery power somewhere after the Fuel Inj relay.

Check that you didn't blow the Fuel Inj relay. I've done it.

What does that mean? If B+ excists ? How should you measure it ?

It means do you have Battery Positive power (12V) at that point? You would measure it with a multimeter or voltmeter.
